Submissions are now open for the 2021 Waukee Schools Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence. This award traditionally honors one teacher per year within the Waukee Community School District who exemplifies leadership, innovation, and integrity. Nominations must come from a fellow teacher in the district and must be received by January 15, 2021.

“We know it’s been a challenging year for our teachers. We appreciate them so much, and look forward to honoring someone with this distinguished award. The recipient will also receive $1,000 to use in their classroom!” said Marsha Mezger, WCSF Teaching Award committee chairperson.

Waukee CSD teachers may submit their nominations here, on the Foundation’s website.
