Families in the Waukee Community School District now have a way to show just how much they miss their teachers and schools, and families of Waukee High School seniors can visibly display their pride in their graduates. The Waukee Community Schools Foundation is working with BDI Signs to produce yard signs for families to purchase through RevTrak.

Families can choose between several different signs that can be customized with the name of the school and the graduate. These signs are just $18 each and will also enable you to give love to the Waukee Area Christian Services Food Pantry and the Waukee Community Schools Foundation. $6 from each purchase goes to support these organizations and their missions ($3 to the pantry, $3 to the Foundation). The Food Pantry is experiencing a large increase in the number of requests for assistance during this COVID-19 pandemic. And, the Foundation is working to provide help to the District in many areas, most recently, by providing money to assist in the 3D printing of PPE’s for our frontline workers across the state.

Online ordering is now open through RevTrak and will close on April 24. The signs will be distributed at a Thursday, April 30, at South Middle School. Last names A-M may pickup from 2-4 pm and last names N-Z may pickup from 4-6 pm. If you could have your last name displayed in your window when you drive up, that will be helpful to keep the line moving. Just drive up, give your name, our volunteers will locate your sign(s) and place in your trunk for you to maintain safe social distancing. Thanks for your support, Waukee!
