$1,000 and a New Car!

The Foundation is incredibly excited to announce the winner of the 2023 Waukee Community Schools Foundation Teaching Excellence Award will get to drive a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox for one year, thanks to Shottenkirk Chevrolet. The winner will also receive a $1,000 classroom grant from the Foundation.  

The Waukee Community Schools Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence is awarded annually to one educator within the district who is committed to excellence, innovation, and integrity. Nominations must come from a WCSD employee beginning December 1, 2022 and concluding January 15, 2023. All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of community members and board members. Finalists will be presented to the Foundation’s entire Board of Directors, who will select the winner.
