Chevy Youth Softball Partnership

The Waukee Community Schools Foundation is announcing our Chevy Youth Softball Partnership. We have teamed up with Waukee Parks & Rec, the Waukee Family YMCA, and Shottenkirk Chevrolet to ensure every Waukee district softball player has what they need to participate in softball this summer. Shottenkirk gave $1,000 to the Foundation as well as nearly $2,500 in softball gear, which will be distributed to teams and students within Waukee Parks & Rec and the Waukee Family YMCA. 

Thanks to our Financial Hardship Fund, we have also been able to provide summer sports, camp, and program fees for students who would have otherwise been unable to participate. Thank you to Shottenkirk Waukee Chevy for not only ensuring our students can play leagues this summer, but ensuring they have the equipment necessary for full participation.  

Waukee Parks & Rec and the Waukee Family YMCA are doing incredible things in and for our communities and we are thrilled at the opportunity to support their work. The growth of these collaborations and partnerships means more kids and families win.
